Save the Children – Safe Digital Childhood

At Save the Children I founded the organization's global Safe Digital Childhood initiative and the taskforce behind it, built to prevent and respond to online violence against children across the movement's country programs.

The work combined research, program design, and coalition-building: understanding how children actually experience online harm, then equipping national teams to act on it. I also established Save the Children's Technology for Development practice, embedding digital capability across humanitarian and development programming rather than treating it as a side project.

Much of the research and convening described elsewhere in this portfolio – the technology-facilitated gender-based violence framework, the seven-country grooming study, the USAID and GDDF convenings – grew out of this work.
